                Getting Started                            
Option 1) To establish a foundation in the technique, we recommend a one on one introductory session. This allows us to assess your level, teach you the basic principles and tailor a program to suit your needs.

Option 2) Join an Intro group class where all the participants are new to Pilates. You will be taught how the equipment works along with basic exercises that stabilize your core. I recommend a quick text to let us know you are looking for a basic Essential group class to slip into while learning the basics. Some restrictions apply.

Following your introduction to the STOTT PILATES® method, these learning options are available:
• private: one-on-one personal training
• semi-private: work out with a friend
• group classes: join a scheduled group Pilates class or coordinate your own group of three to eight people

Essential Pilates   This class gives participants a solid understanding of the Pilates method of exercise. The Essential level reviews the 5 basic principles of core stabilization and the basic curriculum that strengthens and lengthens your muscles. This is a slower paced class and all those with an injury are welcome.

Intermediate Pilates                                                                                                           This level is typically for experienced STOTT PILATES participants. You must have few physical limitations to keep up with the faster pace and have a good understanding of all Reformer work. Be prepared to work on all the apparatus as the instructor may teach a circuit on the Cadillac, Stability Chair, Barrels and the Tower Trainer

Rehab Pilates
The workouts are customized to address weaknesses, various health conditions, postural problems or injuries (but not to diagnose specific injuries).

This class can address:
– rehabilitating an injured musculoskeletal system
– exercise modifications in the: lumbo-pelvic, cervical, upper quadrant, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle and foot regions
– Pregnancy, fibromyalgia and other special conditions
